PETA are looking to recruit a Funded Compliance and Claims Manager to ensure precision and adherence to regulatory standards. In this role every detail counts towards maintaining organisational integrity and compliance excellence.

This full-time position will be based on our conference centre in Cosham. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 5pm.
Your New Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing Funded compliance and claims for programmes sponsored by Government including Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Study Programmes. This entails the effective and efficient planning, organisation and control of staff and resources to ensure that the company maximises its revenue earning potential from these contracts. Your role will support the company to be able to fulfil its contractual obligations and ensure it achieves full financial assurance with good quality grades from external audits.
Your responsibilities will include:
Compliance & Claims Management – Oversee all funded compliance and claims, ensuring contract management systems meet company requirements. Conduct periodic reviews and audits.
Data Analysis & Reporting – Gather and analyse contract data to track performance, budgets, and KPIs. Prepare management reports for senior leadership and funding bodies.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with operational managers to review contract performance, provide guidance, and implement corrective actions where needed.
Budget & Contract Support – Assist in preparing annual budgets, cost models, and proposals for new contracts and key customers.
Contract Oversight – Manage company contracts related to government-funded training, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Systems & Processes – Maintain software systems, oversee funding data submissions, and ensure reconciliation with funding bodies.
Audit & Compliance – Conduct internal audits of learner files, report non-compliances, and provide training where necessary.
Funding Body Liaison – Serve as the main contact for funding bodies regarding contract management and claims.
Bids & Proposals – Prepare bids and proposals to renew or secure new contracts. Implement customer satisfaction surveys and report findings.
Industry Trends & Benchmarking – Stay up to date on funding trends, advise managers on changes, and benchmark company performance against competitors.
Programme & Policy Development – Support programme design to ensure funding compliance and develop policies/processes to enhance operations.

To be successful as a Funded Compliance and Claims Manager, attention to detail will be an essential requirement. You will also require the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in compliance management and claims processing, ideally within apprenticeship or education programmes
- Strong knowledge of regulations related to apprenticeship programs, education, or funded sectors
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with apprentices, employers, and external agencies.
- Proficient in using relevant software, including database management systems and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent team working skills
