PETA Ltd are looking to source an exceptional Engineering Apprentice for our client, Allflow. This role involves learning how to use technical information to build mechanical assemblies and systems. You will also be completing tests to ensure specifications are met.
Training to be provided:
As a Mechanical Engineering Fitter Apprentice, you will be studying a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship with Allflow Pumps & Pump Systems, you will be supported by your company mentor and your PETA Learning and Development Coach.
Your Level 3 programme will include, a level 3 Engineering work-based qualification delivered by PETA, and day release for 24 months to complete a level 3 BTEC technical certificate.
Overall duration 45 months
The training at the Havant Centre will officially start in September, however if Allflow find the right candidate, they may look to start their apprentice beforehand to get them settled.
About the role:
Joining the Allflow team as an Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, your role will be focused on undertaking the manufacturing processes on site. As part of your programme, you will learn how to:
- Plan work activities, including sourcing components, equipment and tooling
- Interpret technical information
- Prepare the work area for assembly task
- Assemble components to produce equipment, machines and systems
- Produce complex high value, low volume assemblies
- Produce and/or re-furbish components
- Check your work against quality standards and make any required adjustments
- Hand over products and prepare the work area for the next task
- Identify and resolve problems
