PETA Ltd are proud to be working alongside Electronic Media Services Ltd to recruit and train an enthusiastic Business Administrator Apprentice. Training to be provided:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
About the role:
The Business Administration Apprentice will gain hands-on experience and learn valuable skills in a supportive and challenging environment. You will gain in-depth knowledge of traditional and agile project management skills and learn to effectively use project management tools and software.
- Take accurate notes during meetings and prepare draft minutes for approval
- Assist the project manager in compiling monthly/quarterly reports using specific templates
- Help in tracking project budgets and financial forecasting
- Monitor staff timesheet completion, ensuring timely submissions and follow up as necessary
- Process purchase invoices and generate sales invoices
- Manage statements, address queries, and maintain accurate financial records
- Opportunity to learn and apply traditional and agile project management methodologies
- Utilize project management tools such as Spreadsheets, Gantt Charts, and Jira to track and report on project progress
- Develop proficiency in financial management and administrative duties
