PETA are proud to be working with Raymarine UK to recruit an apprentice within the Technical Support Department, focusing on customer support (office-based and infield).
Training to be provided:
Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 22-month apprenticeship which includes 25 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6-8 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
About the role:
The IT Technical Support Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:
- Handle telephone enquiries and provide 1st/2nd line support for FLIR/Raymarine products
- Manage CRM and email queries, assist team colleagues, and oversee returns and repairs processes
- Conduct in-field service visits and escalate technical issues with full triage to relevant teams
- Support engineering teams and drive product improvement through technical expertise and customer feedback
- Act as a technical subject matter expert to train and mentor team members
- Deliver technical training sessions for customers
- Perform other assigned duties
