Your Role
As an IT Technical Trainer, you’ll deliver high-quality, engaging training to apprentices and corporate clients, while supporting learners to achieve industry-recognised standards. Key areas of responsibility:
Training & Delivery
- Deliver engaging IT training across face-to-face, virtual, and digital platforms
- Clearly explain and demonstrate technical concepts to learners of varying abilities
- Adapt delivery styles to suit different learning needs and environments
Curriculum & Content Development
- Design, develop, and modernise training modules, lesson plans, manuals and presentations
- Write clear, engaging and accessible educational content
- Customise training programmes to meet the needs of different audiences and employers
Assessment & Learner Support
- Design and mark formative and summative assessments in line with industry standards
- Provide constructive feedback that supports learner progression
- Offer ongoing guidance, troubleshooting, and academic support
Innovation & Digital Learning
- Lead the digital transformation of IT training programmes
- Integrate modern learning technologies and tools
- Continuously improve content to reflect current and emerging industry practices
About You
You’re an IT professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed. You’re confident in front of a group, comfortable with technology, and motivated by the opportunity to improve how people learn.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering classroom, virtual, and digitally delivered training
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as servers and system administration, networking and cyber security and Python programming
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Teaching or training qualification, or a strong willingness to work towards one
