PETA have been established for over 50 years and have experienced continued success from our valued customer base. To support the achievement of our ambitious 5-year growth plan, we are looking for an experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team and promote our suite of high-quality training products and apprenticeships to new customers.
This full-time position will be based on our conference centre in Cosham (agile hybrid working considered). Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 5pm.
Our Sales Team
As a Business Development Manager, you will be joining our fast paced, high performing sales team. In your new role, you will be working alongside a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers, all reporting into the Head of Sales. You will be provided with ongoing support and in-depth product training to help you hit the ground running.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining the team as a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous outbound calling campaigns to engage with new customers. Your engagement with customers will primarily be over the phone so a passion for telesales will be key. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to identify and engage potential new customers.
- Generate and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Accurately document all sales activities, interactions, and client information in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine sales strategies and improve lead generation processes.
