The Business Administrator Apprentice will provide a high level of service to clients and referrers, helping to ensure that Andrew & Andrew remains their preferred firm of solicitors and one they would recommend to others. The postholder will provide comprehensive, proactive support to the conveyancing team and assist with reception duties when required.
Training to be provided:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
About the role:
Working within the New Business (Conveyancing) department, the Business Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responding to new conveyancing enquiries by telephone and email
- Speaking with prospective clients and understanding their requirements
- Preparing and sending conveyancing quotations
- Following up enquiries and helping turn enquiries into new instructions
- Sending new client information and initial paperwork
- Opening new matters and allocating them to the appropriate fee earner
- Keeping accurate records of enquiries, quotations and new instructions
- Using our case management system
- Liaising with solicitors and other members of the Conveyancing team
- Managing and prioritising a busy and changing workload
- Providing reception cover when required

- Experience of dealing with inbound / outbound client telephone calls
- Experience working in an office environment
- A sense of humour and self-management skills
