An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the PETA team as a Marketing Apprentice at our head office site in Portsmouth. This is a full time position, Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5pm.
Your New Role
Joining the Sales and Marketing team, the successful Marketing Apprentice will be responsible for designing, scheduling and promoting content on PETA courses, apprenticeships and events both digitally and on-site. In your new role, you will:
- Plan, create and schedule content across various social media platforms including Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram.
- Design and edit promotional images, banners and graphics for online and offline use – especially for events and campaign.
- Capture, edit and produce short videos for social media, events and internal communications.
- Assist with the marketing and promotion of events including branding materials, digital assets and on-site visuals.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s tone, voice and visual guidelines.
- Collaborate with the wider organisation to support campaigns from concept to execution.
As a Marketing Apprentice, you will be undertaking a 15 month apprenticeship programme, receiving training from Cambridge Marketing College. In your new role, you will be working alongside a team of Account Managers, Recruiters and Event’s organisers. You will be provided with ongoing support and in-depth product training to help you hit the ground running.

To be considered for the role of Marketing Apprentice at PETA, you will need to demonstrate a proven track record of creativity. A strong knowledge of social media, content creation, videography, or a digital artistic flair are the foundations we want to work on with you as part of this apprenticeship.
- A portfolio of past work showing your creativity and technical ability (social posts, videos, event promos, etc)
- Experience in using digital artistic platforms/software tools such as Canva, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Microsoft Packages
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Creative thinker with a strong visual sense and attention to detail
- Organised and proactive
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
