Drift IT Services are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Sales and Purchasing Administrator Apprentice. This is an exciting chance to start your journey in a professional office environment, where you will learn a wide range of administrative and organisational skills that are essential in any business setting.
Training to be provided:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6-8 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
About the role:
The Sales and Purchasing Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:
- Accepting deliveries at the office, checking in stock on spreadsheets, recording serial numbers and tracking discrepancies
- Chasing purchase orders with schools
- Actioning and processing basic quotes
- Sending renewal quotes for subscriptions
- Answering the phone, taking messages, and dealing with customers
- Raising tickets for incoming enquiries using the company support management system
- Updating and maintaining the company CRM system

Essential Skills:
It is essential that the Sales and Purchasing Administrator Apprenticehas the following skills and personal qualities:
- GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4 are required
- Ideally some administration and/or customer service experience
- A meticulous attention to detail
- Be an excellent team player
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of Microsoft Packages
