Are you a logical thinker, with a passion for high quality work? PETA Ltd are looking to source an exceptional Workshop Engineer Apprentice for our client, CTS Europe Ltd based in Portsmouth. This role involves working in a team, learning a variety of workshop tasks across the business.
Training to be provided:
As a Workshop Engineer Apprentice, you will be studying a Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship with CTS, you will be supported by your company mentor and your PETA Learning and Development Coach.
Your apprenticeship programme includes working towards a Level 2 Diploma and Level 2 Certificate in Engineering Operations.
Overall duration 18 months.
About the role:
Joining the team at CTS as a Workshop Engineer Apprentice, you will be good with your attention to detail and have pride in your work.
Your area of learning on the job will be:
- Assembling custom built Laboratory enclosures
- Testing fully built systems
- Quality checking
- Crating large systems
- Assisting with special orders
- Making up small assemblies
- Basic fabrication activities such as drilling/tapping/trimming/bonding
- Metal fabrication Tasks
- Wiring electrical Assemblies
