Following continued success and growth, we are now looking to expand our Conference Centre team through the recruitment of a new part time Conference Centre Coordinator. This role will be based at our prestigious training facility in Cosham.
This is a part time position working two days per week, preferably these would be Thursday and Friday, 7:30-17:00 with one hour for lunch. These will be the same set two days per week; although this may need to adapt on occasions.
A day in the life…
As a Conference Centre Coordinator, you will work closely with our Conference Centre Assistant and take responsibility for the daily front of house operation at our Cosham centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the facilities and support functions are in place to promote customer experience excellence
- Coordinate daily supplier contracts for the provision of cleaning, catering and routine maintenance
- Taking the lead in supervising standards for administration throughout the corporate service team
- Ensuring compliance with the company administration policy
- Delivering administration support for the IT training department and administrative support to the Head of Operations.
The role of Conference Centre Coordinator is fast paced and varied. Our successful applicant will need a desire to excel in delivering superb customer service so every visitor to PETA feels welcome.
What will I need to succeed?
To be considered for the role of Conference Centre Coordinator, it is essential that you have experience in customer service and administration. You will be required to work in a fast-paced role where priorities regularly change so adaptability will be key to your success.
You will also:

- Have experience in complex diary management
- Be organised and proactive
- Work well under pressure and always be up for a challenge
- Have exceptional communication skills – both face to face & over the phone
- Be able to prioritise a demanding workload
